Update 04/10/2011 From Trevor
charm are very happy for anyone who wants to record their performances and share them here at the LMA to do so. we will do our best to work and negotiate
with all associated parties at a performance (including venue staff, security staff, engineers etc.) to allow recordings to happen, however unfortunately sometimes there are rules outside of our control that can override our wishes.
the band themselves will often record shows and upload them here, so get involved and share!
all formats and types of recordings and recording devices are allowed. this includes audio (audience microphone, soundboard, publicly broadcast mix, etc.), video, photography, and can be using any equipment you have available - be it amateur, professional or otherwise.
there are a few conditions:
* no unauthorised selling of any recordings whatsoever is allowed.
* you are not allowed to interfere with the bands performance, audience experience, or staff duties. this includes before, during and after recording.
* you agree to make known to the band that you have the recording, and offer the highest quality transfer available to the band if requested.
* all charm performances and recordings are the exclusive property of charm. all rights reserved. the privileges to record charm performances set forth in this policy constitute an express, revocable license. we reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, trading, and/or non-commercial digital file transfers on a case specific basis or in general, as we deem necessary. no waiver of any copyright or trademark right is intended.
lastly - we only speak for ourselves, and any other artists who perform before, with, or after us will have their own thoughts and policies on these matters to take into consideration and follow.
